Kathmandu residents get e-Cab, pay digitally

KATHMANDU, Nepal - e-Cab Nepal was launched on Friday to provide a simple and economical taxi service while prioritizing the safety and demands of the clients.

Rajendra Prasad Pandey, Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, officially launched the service.

According to a press release, this is the first app featuring a QR code, and users may make digital or cash payments.

The app user can also reserve transportation for relatives and acquaintances and organize future bookings. Furthermore, cabs can be booked for individuals without internet access by dialing their call center.
