Update: 7.4-magnitude quake hits Philippines: CENC

BEIJING, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- A 7.4-magnitude earthquake jolted the Philippines at 9:43 a.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The quake struck at a depth of 50 km and its epicenter was monitored at 7.55 degrees north latitude and 127 degrees east longitude, according to the CENC.
